Somehow, there are always a few bogus studies showing how great new education ideas/reforms are while the reforms are new and in vogue. A decade later, it is always quite obvious that they were grand failures. By then, it doesn’t matter because the people pushing the reforms are already retired or moved on so they never have to face the music. And there is a new batch of reformers to take their place, usually pushing reforms that are just old failed ideas wearing a different color eye shadow.
